Analyzing the Vulnerabilities in a Transshipment Network: A Bilevel Programming Approach

چکیده

As one of the most common types networks, transshipment networks face certain risks in their daily operations. This risk either stems from a deliberate intervention process or an unpredictable natural effect. The owner network normally aims to minimize total cost transportation, while rival opponent might attempt intervene and cause increase costs. Unpredictable setbacks, on other hand, can also have negative impact necessitating decision-makers be more vigilant, especially for worst-case consequences disruptions. problem designed as bilevel mathematical model. In this study, we develop max-min model considering that arcs are liable disruption imposed by intervenor. We present original with novel solution approach identify vulnerabilities given network. results reveal vulnerable network, which highest transportation costs when occurs. use such analyze distribution electrical grids associated measures decrease flexibility systems. enables decision makers methodical understanding worst cases if is interrupted some reason.
